Following minor ankle injuries, typically classed as a grade 1 you will experience swelling and pain. It is important to rest following the initial injury to minimise the risk of making it worse which could result in an elongated rehabilitation period. It is this inflammation which can impact on your mobility, with ice and compression often recommended by professionals to help manage swelling whilst offering a pain relieving benefits. The material used by BioSkin is completely unique in offering a higher level of compression than what is seen with neoprene, whilst still allowing the skin to breathe so that the brace will stay in place throughout the day.
